Leather Jacket Weather
Since Labor Day has past us it is safe to say the unofficial start to fall has begun. That means it is time for the leather jacket to make a reappearance in closets everywhere. I had a few light jackets handy through the summer months as we never really got a true blast of summer heat in through Toronto. Now that temperatures are sneaking into fall criteria my fall favorites are making their way to the front of my closet.
Making the Transition
I always try to buy pieces I can dress up or dress down. To take it one step further, I also try and fill my closet with pieces I can easily transition from day to night. Finding a little black jacket can be as satisfying as finding the perfect pair of jeans. When I pair an outfit with my favorite leather jacket I always feel sleek and ready to face the day.
I also wanted to add my favorite fall travel mug to the blog, you can find it here Good Morning Gorgeous Travel Mug.
Neutral Pieces to the Rescue
One of the best pieces of advice I have ever been given when it comes to wardrobe is to buy neutral pieces. It is especially important to have staple pieces when traveling to ease your luggage load. Another great reason to have a simple black jacket in your wheelhouse. There are so many ways you can style a neutral piece by adding a fun fall scarf, showing the cuff of your blouse underneath or just leaving the zipper open and layering with a cable knit for extra character.
The remaining days of summer have not shied me away from already transitioning my closet to fall. My question to you is, what is absolutely necessary in your fall wardrobe? Leave me a comment below!
