Layering with Winter Accessories in Burgundy

Instead of complaining about the winter chill, we may as well embrace it by matching winter accessories. My University colors were maroon and grey so these colors are still very close to my heart. I am also always drawn to cozy plaid scarves whenever I head into the accessories section of a store.

Embrace the winter chill with beautiful layers.

Rich Colours to Suite the Masses

I think these colors are so close to my heart because I have seen a huge group of people all different shapes, sizes, ethnicities and so on wear them, and everyone looks amazing! The thing about rich burgundy is, it really does look great on everyone.

Tailor the Waist with a Belt

I think this two tone grey wrap jacket is perfect for layering because of the belt. You can put as many layers under the jacket as needed and still get that tailored look. It’s difficult sometimes in the winter to get a faltering silhouette when the weather really doesn’t allow it. Grabbing a jacket with a belt is a great way to minimize the bulk around your waist thus, giving you a more flattering look.

Here are some of my favorite finds from Aldo Accessories. They are the perfect go-to if you need to quickly pick out a gift for a friend over the holidays!
