I had the best time the other day shooting some content for Instagram at Fitzroy Rentals and I am so thrilled I vlogged the day. It’s so funny, sometimes you are just going with the flow and you don’t realize all the footage you have captured.

What sizes do you carry? //
We currently carry dresses from size 0 to 18, and always try to bring in as many sizes as are available in each style. Our number one goal at the moment is to expand our Curvy Fox collection (size 14-18) and add size 20s soon.
Why rent rather than buy? //
The textile industry is one of the biggest polluters on the planet, yet as consumers we are constantly pressured to buy more and more, contributing to the wasteful cycle of fast-fashion. The average North American throws away up to 80lbs of clothing per year! How many times have you bought an expensive dress only to wear it once and then watch as it collects dust and takes up space in your overstuffed closet-graveyard of parties-past? On the other hand we all crave variety, and by the time your next event comes around chances are you won’t want to wear that same dress again.
Renting offers women an alternative way to access these one-wear pieces. By sharing and re-using each dress, we consume less and spend less but have access to more variety. It’s a win-win for our wallets and the environment, and we strongly believe it to be the future direction of the fashion industry. #rentalrevolution

Where do you get your dresses from? //
We work directly with the designer or brand, the same as any other boutique or retail store. Our lines primarily come from Australia, the UK, LA and locally, and we plan to add more Canadian designers to our collection soon!

YES!!! We have an AMAZING selection of bags and fascinators for rent!
The Fitzroy is pleased to announce that our Toronto studio is OPEN for fittings and rentals, no appointment necessary! Our new walk-in studio hours for the Fall of 2020 are:
Tuesdays – Fridays 12-8PM
COVID MESSAGE //
A mask is required to enter the studio and we will have all necessary safety precautions in place. Hours may change as we gage demand during this transitional period. If you would still prefer to make a private appointment for a personal fitting or a small group booking we can accommodate on Mondays.
