New Gaia Collection by Edge of Ember

08.11.22

Edge of Ember is a sustainable brand made up of a small but mighty team based in London, UK. Gaia is their newest collection and one of my favourite yet!

This past week Scotty and I had a chance to travel overseas to the UK and by happenstance one of my absolute favourite brands, Edge of Ember, was having a pop-up in Covent Garden for their newest collection, Gaia. The Gaia collection is in collaboration with social media mogul, Victoria Magrath. I have followed Victoria’s career for years now and her ever inspiring spirit and style never misses.

Over the past year I’ve had the pleasure of connecting with the Edge of Ember team and am so honoured to be on their radar. That being said I’ve included below the pieces I had the chance to select from this gorgeous collection and I have to say they are even more stunning in real life.

When I packed for this London trip I wanted to make sure everything in my suitcase worked well together. After a few days it was clear I made a great choice by including the following necklace and earrings set.

If you are looking for something special to gift this holiday season to the jewellery lover in your life look no further than Edge of Ember!

Reasons to Choose Edge of Ember

  • They use certified recycled 14k solid gold in their fine jewellery styles. Solid gold is a durable, resistant to tarnishing and works great for those with sensitive skin. They offer yellow gold and white gold; the latter is 14k solid white gold finished with a layer of rhodium.
  • Edge of Ember does not do greenwashing. You can read more about their sustainability report here.
  • They are a female founded business and have been working to raise women up in their community through various programs.
  • THEY MAKE STUNNING JEWELLERY that truly feels like heirloom pieces you’re going to want to pass down.
  • They actually have a jewellery recycling program and you can read more about that here.

From the Founder

Fashion should look and feel good. That’s why I started EDGE of EMBER, to bring fine jewellery that doesn’t cost the earth to everyone. I wanted to make social responsibility the core of a luxury brand, and here we are.

– Lynette Ong, Founder

What Does “Gaia” Mean?

In Greek mythology, Gaia from Ancient Greek (Γαῖα, a poetical form of Γῆ , ‘land’ or ‘earth’), is the personification of the Earth and one of the Greek primordial deities.
